Forgotten Faucet Causes Falmouth Water Damage

A Falmouth homeowner needed emergency water damage cleanup on two floors of his home. He forgot he was filling the bathtub, and it overflowed for nearly an hour, soaking the floor above and running into the finished basement. Water was still pouring through the basement ceiling when the techs arrived on-site, as seen in the Before Photo. SERVPRO technicians extracted the water and opened up the ceiling of the basement to quickly dry the floor joists. The techs deployed multiple air movers and dehumidification equipment on the wood flooring to dry it before it began to buckle or warp, thus saving the homeowner the cost of replacement through quick mitigation.
