Widespread Water Damage in Mashpee Home

SERVPRO techs answered a call from a Mashpee homeowner with a pipe break in a basement affecting a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The techs found that the wood floating floor had water seepage and needed removal to dry the substrate underneath. Much of the sheetrock needed flood cuts around the rooms due to wicking of the water. The techs used the flood cuts to open the wall cavities and with the great allowance for airflow, can dry these affected areas more quickly. As seen in the After Photo, the technicians deploy multiple air movers working in tandem with dehumidification equipment to bring down the ambient humidity as rapidly as possible.
