After careful assessment of the extent of the damage, our SERVPRO mold remediation team planned an appropriate intervention. Adhering to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) protocols for safe and effective mold remediation, we contained the affected area and removed the mold. Because the wall was porous, the mold hyphae were well-established inside the building material. Our team cut out and disposed of the microbially compromised and wet drywall along with the rest of the moldy residue, following local hazardous waste regulations.
