We started construction on a new bathroom and the contractor advised us there was a lot a black mold hidden from view. Our contractor recommended SERVPRO and a couple of others, and I called SERVPRO first. I should note that I live on Nantucket and it can be very difficult to get any work done, especially if you are dealing with people off Island. Christy in their office was knowledgeable and helpful. She got things scheduled very efficiently.

Will arrived to inspect and was on time. I found out that this SERVPRO office was a family business and it was clear to me that Will took pride in that. Unfortunately for us, we had a major mold problem that extended to several rooms. He walked me through what they would do, which included cleaning and installing a vapor barrier in our crawlspace.

The crew who came to do the work was very professional, very thorough and cleaned up after themselves. The work took several days to complete. We also got advice about how to avoid this problem in the future (use of dehumidifiers, which areas to do a more thorough cleaning and using anti-mold paint).

Several weeks later our contractor removed more wallboard and to my horror, there was Black mold everywhere. I called SERVPRO right away and Will came over to do another inspection and estimate (no charge for this). Once again right on time and he told us that we didn't need their services. The plywood with the mold was going to be removed by our contractor. He said that is all we would need. He confirmed our contractor's opinion that this was not an active site and pointed out places where the new construction would have to be adapted. Our contractor was in complete agreement.

I cannot recommend SERVPRO more highly as people who do excellent work when you need it and tell you when you don't need it.

They made a bad situation good. I'm pleased with the work that they performed.

Two fantastic organizations. Both management teams were extremely competent, knowledgeable, professional and courteous at all times. Our loss came during the three nor’easters and never once was I unable to get a return call from management. Both teams stepped in when the adjuster and insurance company only wanted to cover 2/3 of the loss, thru their efforts 100% was covered. One of SERVPRO subcontractors made a mistake and SERVPRO made sure it did not affect the outcome and it had no effect on the customer. Your staffs are terrific, I’ll never forget in the beginning with SERVPRO one of the staff came to me and said “We are SERVPRO Cape Cod and you have nothing to worry about”. He was right and I thought what a great company to have staff that proud of their company. ADS was absolutely amazing the competence and craftsmanship are second to none the job they did we could not have been more satisfied with. I was in the building business, Dan came by at the end of the job and asked me to provide a punch list I said that it was unnecessary due to Dave Elias was there and there is no punch list. He is a real craftsman with great customer skills. Your companies are the gold standard and we couldn’t be more proud or happy with the jobs your two companies provided it was an absolute pleasure working with management and staff, thank you.

In writing this I could not remember all the names of everybody that touched this job, but there wasn’t anybody that didn’t display the highest in professionalism and competence, they all should be commended.

The SERVPRO crew that was at my property were AWESOME.  They did a great job, not only removing my insulation from the cellar as we had contracted,  but their clean up left the rest of the cellar looking better than when they found it.  They were professional and yet personable. I can't say enough good about the job they did!  Money well spent!
